The 49ers then put the game away with a touchdown late in the fourth quarter to make it 30-23. The Rams had one last chance to tie the game, but their final drive ended with an interception by 49ers safety Jaquiski Tartt.
The win was a huge one for the 49ers, as it improved their record to 5-0 and kept them atop the NFC West standings. It was also a big win for Garoppolo, who threw for 243 yards and two touchdowns in the victory.
The 49ers will now look to continue their winning ways as they face off against the Washington Redskins next week. With another win, they could extend their lead in the division and continue their march towards the playoffs.
