The Miami Dolphins put on a dominant performance on Sunday, defeating the Commanders by a score of 15-45. The Dolphins were led by quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who threw for three touchdowns and ran for another. The Dolphins defense also played a key role in the victory, forcing four turnovers and holding the Commanders to just 15 points.
The Dolphins got off to a fast start, scoring on their first two possessions. Fitzpatrick connected with wide receiver DeVante Parker for a touchdown on the first drive, and then ran for a touchdown on the second drive. The Dolphins defense then forced a turnover on the Commanders’ next possession, setting up another touchdown drive.
The Dolphins continued to dominate in the second half, scoring two more touchdowns and adding a field goal. The Commanders were able to get on the board late in the game with a touchdown, but it was too little too late.
The Dolphins’ victory was a total team effort, with the offense and defense both playing well. Fitzpatrick was efficient, completing 17 of 22 passes for 243 yards and three touchdowns. The defense forced four turnovers and held the Commanders to just 15 points.
The Dolphins will look to build on this victory as they prepare for their next game against the New York Jets. If they can continue to play at this level, they should be in good shape to make a run at the playoffs.
