The Chicago Bears had high hopes for their rookie quarterback, Bryce Young, but unfortunately, he was unable to lead them to victory against the Carolina Panthers in their Week 4 matchup. The final score was 16-13 in favor of the Panthers.
Young, the first-round draft pick out of Alabama, had a tough outing against the Panthers. He completed 21 of his 33 pass attempts for just 174 yards and one touchdown. He also threw two interceptions and was sacked three times. Young was unable to get the Bears offense going and they were unable to capitalize on several opportunities.
The Bears defense played well, holding the Panthers to just 16 points and forcing two turnovers. However, the offense was unable to take advantage of those opportunities and the Bears were unable to get into the end zone.
The Bears have now lost three straight games and are 1-3 on the season. Young has shown promise in his first few starts, but he has yet to lead the Bears to a victory. He will need to improve if the Bears are going to turn their season around.
The Bears will look to rebound next week when they take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It will be a tough test for Young and the Bears offense, but they will need to find a way to get into the end zone if they want to have any chance of winning.
It was a disappointing outing for Bryce Young and the Chicago Bears against the Panthers, but they will look to bounce back next week. It will be interesting to see if Young can lead the Bears to victory against a tough Buccaneers team.
