The Dallas Cowboys pulled off a thrilling 20-19 victory over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, thanks in large part to the stellar performance of rookie wide receiver Ceedee Lamb.
The Cowboys had a slow start to the game, with the Lions taking a 10-3 lead into halftime. However, the Cowboys came out of the locker room with a renewed energy, scoring 17 unanswered points in the second half.
The game-winning score came on a 4-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Dak Prescott to Lamb with just over two minutes left in the fourth quarter. Lamb finished the game with seven receptions for 79 yards and the touchdown.
The Cowboys defense also played a key role in the victory, holding the Lions to just three points in the second half. The defense was led by linebacker Leighton Vander Esch, who recorded 11 tackles and one sack.
The victory was the Cowboys’ fourth in a row and improved their record to 4-3 on the season. The win also kept them in contention for a playoff spot in the NFC East.
The Cowboys will look to continue their winning streak when they face the Philadelphia Eagles next Sunday. If they can continue to get strong performances from their young players like Lamb, they should be able to keep their playoff hopes alive.
