The NFL’s 2020 season is off to a great start and two of the league’s most promising young quarterbacks, Daniel Jones and Kenny Pickett, are ready to make their mark. Both players have been highly touted since their respective college careers and are now ready to take the next step in their professional careers.
Daniel Jones, the New York Giants’ first-round pick in 2019, has already shown flashes of greatness in his rookie season. He has a strong arm and can make all the throws necessary to be successful in the NFL. He is also a very mobile quarterback, which allows him to extend plays and make plays outside of the pocket. Jones is also a very accurate passer, completing 64.2% of his passes last season.
Kenny Pickett, on the other hand, is a bit of an unknown commodity. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft and is expected to compete for the backup quarterback role behind Ben Roethlisberger. Pickett has a strong arm and can make all the throws necessary to be successful in the NFL. He is also a very accurate passer, completing 64.2% of his passes last season at Pitt.
Both Daniel Jones and Kenny Pickett have the potential to be great quarterbacks in the NFL. They have the talent and skill set to be successful in the league and both are ready to take the next step in their professional careers. With the Giants and Steelers both having high expectations for this season, these two quarterbacks will be expected to lead their respective teams to success.
