The Cincinnati Bengals have been on a roll lately, and it was no different in their Week 7 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals. Led by the dynamic duo of Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase, the Bengals were able to pull off a 20-34 victory over the Cardinals.
Burrow, the Bengals’ rookie quarterback, had another impressive performance, throwing for 312 yards and two touchdowns. He was able to spread the ball around to multiple receivers, including Chase, who had his best game of the season. Chase caught seven passes for a career-high 151 yards and one touchdown. The two connected on a beautiful deep ball in the fourth quarter that put the Bengals up by two scores.
The Bengals defense also played a big role in the win, holding the Cardinals to just 17 points. They were able to pressure Kyler Murray all game long, sacking him four times and forcing two interceptions. The secondary was also able to contain DeAndre Hopkins, who had just five receptions for 51 yards.
The win was a big one for the Bengals, as it puts them at 3-4 on the season and keeps them in the hunt for a playoff spot. With Burrow and Chase leading the way, the Bengals have a bright future ahead of them. If they can continue to play at this level, they could be a real threat in the AFC North.
