It’s been a long time coming, but Breece Hall is finally back in the NFL. The former Jets running back has signed a one-year deal to return to the team for the 2021 season. This marks the first time Hall has been on an NFL roster since his rookie year in 2018.
Hall was a highly touted prospect out of Iowa State, where he rushed for over 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons. He was drafted by the Jets in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft and had a promising rookie season, rushing for 722 yards and seven touchdowns. Unfortunately, he suffered a season-ending injury in Week 14 and was placed on injured reserve.
Since then, Hall has been out of the league, spending time with his family and working on his craft. He has been training hard and is ready to make an impact for the Jets this season. Hall brings a unique combination of size and speed to the backfield and will look to be a major contributor to the team’s success.
The Jets have been searching for a reliable running back since Le’Veon Bell’s departure in 2019. Hall is a perfect fit for their system and should be able to provide a spark in the backfield. He will likely be competing with veteran Frank Gore for carries, but Hall has the potential to be the team’s lead back if he can stay healthy.
Breece Hall is back in the NFL and ready to make an impact with the Jets. His return marks the beginning of a new era for the franchise and fans are excited to see what he can do. With Hall in the backfield, the Jets have a chance to be one of the most dangerous offenses in the league this season.
